Focus Areas
Consultation and Services for Zoological Institutions & Wildlife Parks
Our activities include offering advice and hands-on services for all animal collections. We provide comprehensive veterinary support for all questions related to animal husbandry, feeding, diagnosis, therapy, and disease prevention. Additionally, we develop customised vaccination programmes and prophylaxis plans for parasite control.
Remote Immobilisation
A particular focus of our practice is remote immobilisation. To examine, treat, or transport shy or defensive animals safely, we use sedation or light anaesthesia via blowpipe or dart gun.
Training
In collaboration with Prof. Dr. Henning Wiesner, our clinic offers training in remote injection and immobilisation techniques. These courses are conducted jointly with the German Wildlife Park Association (Deutscher Wildgehege-Verband e. V.). They are tailored to both veterinarians and non-veterinarians.
